I have added this page and category because of a recent ordeal I have had with some Hampton Bay fans we bought at Home Depot. In our opinion these fans are constructed poorly and are made with low quality parts. Every single one we have purchased for our home clicked, ticked, hummed, wobbled, you name it, it did it. If they did'nt do it right away, eventually they did, usually around 2:00am when were sound asleep. After three times returning the four fans to Home Depot we bought for our home,(that's assembling and installing, then uninstalling and unassembling four fans, three times) we finally said forget the Hampton Bay fans, returned them for good the fourth time and got all our money back and bought some quiet, quality fans from a different Home Center. Installed our new fans. No noises at last. No put down to Home Depot, but their line of Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans stink!! The Handy Hand does not recommend them to any one.
