Here are a few pictures of my friends and I at our favorite fishing spot, an annual pilgrimage. However, I won't say where it is or everyone will want to go!
Five guys in two black trucks, on the way to kill some trout. 3-5 hours over a dirt road to drive 75 km, after 6 hours driving on pavement. This shot was after an obligatory pee break.
Five grouse on the way in, on the dirt road.
Here's one of our hot spots. Of course to get there, we had to canoe down the river...
Here we are arriving back on shore after a successful morning of fishing.
The fishermen and the catch
A closeup with a beer bottle to attest the size of our fish.
This mink tried to steal our trout!
Wash time! Boy, is that guy greasy or what?
Yours truly, smoking trout over the campfire.
